We pride ourselves on offering new, unique and fresh concepts.
Here is what you can expect:
The first two competition days will be run in a typical round robin style – with some differences:Dancers in the Junior Age Division (ages 5 to 12) in the Novice, Pre-Competitive and Competitive Categories will dance consecutively. Once all Juniors have competed, we will announce the top three Junior scores from each dance studio.
To follow will be the Senior Age Division (ages 13 and up) in the Novice, Pre-Competitive and Competitive Categories. Once all Seniors have competed, we will then announce the top three Senior scores from each dance studio.
The last and final day of MOVE will offer dancers and studios a true opportunity to compete for the title of MOVE Champion. The top three Junior scores from each dance studio will compete against one another regardless of age, dance style or competitive category. The same applies to the Senior Division. In the end – one Junior entry and one Senior entry will be crowned the MOVE Champion!

Dancers in the finals will be judged not solely on their technique but also for stage presence, creativity, choreography, costumes and overall performance quality.
And we are not done yet!
Professional judges will judge each final performance as usual; however they will also offer live critiques following each number. Judges will NOT be the only deciding factor. We are also engaging the audience, where their response and reaction to each performance will be gauged and will make up one third of the final score. And if that’s not enough – there will be a final judgment made by yours truly – Shawn Desman – who will help to decide who brought it and who could really “MOVE”!1/3 – Judges
